What visitors say
I’m keeping my gorilla trekking experience live on this site as a record of what it was like to see the mountain gorillas in Virunga National Park.
As we stood there, surrounded by the calm of the forest I felt connected to the quiet gorillas that seemed untouched by the chaos of the world beyond their lunch spot.
The next morning we were to visit one of Virunga's habituated groups of Mountain Gorillas named after its chief silverback, Humba.
