What visitors say
This winter, during a 3-day vacation in San Diego, we spent one entire day in the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.
Driving through the park’s expansive East Africa and South Africa park sections definitely brought back fond memories of our own African safari, especially when we saw elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions and a cheetah.
The original plan was naturally a Disneyland trip but with the parks still closed and nothing on the horizon we looked around for an alternative and decided to head south to San Diego and the Zoo & Safari Park.
