What visitors say
Photo Ben Chapple, Frances’s Sparrowhawk, Ankarafantsika On our final morning, we saw a male Van Dam’s Vanga briefly, while the female was more obliging, feeding in the lower canopy.
We also saw nocturnal lemurs peering out of tree holes and families of sifakas (a type of lemur) lounging in trees.
Overhead we photographed our first-ever Eleanoras Falcons, and we topped it off with brilliant views of Coquerel's Sifaka.
For the US traveler seeking an authentic wildlife adventure, Ankarafantsika offers an unforgettable journey into the heart of Malagasy nature.
