The glossy ibis was first documented in the New World in 1817 (New Jersey). Audubon saw the species just once in Florida in 1832. It expanded its range substantially northwards in the 1940s and to the west in the 1980s. This species is migratory; most European birds winter in Africa, and in North America... Wikipedia →

Under 5% of wildlife watchers report a Glossy Ibis sighting in Nagpur on a given day, based on 6 verified sightings from GBIF citizen-science data. It is the 185th most-seen of the 196 birds we can rate there. Over three days the chance rises to under 5%, if each day is a fresh chance.
Any time of year
In every month with enough records, under 5% of wildlife watchers report a Glossy Ibis in Nagpur on a given day, so our monthly data shows no clear season.
